I provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. My approach to therapy incorporates cognitive-behavioral, systems, and relational approaches, with a strength-based foundation. I challenge clients to think about themselves and the world in more adaptive ways, while also making meaningful behavioral changes that allows them to move closer to achieving personal goals. I view treatment as a collaborative and dynamic process that benefits from monitoring and adjustment to boost growth and outcomes.
I believe a strong therapeutic relationship, paired with evidence-based skills and tools, are vital to lasting change. I strive to provide a warm, empowering, and gently challenging space for my clients to find hope, develop understanding, and cope with challenges.
My areas of clinical interest include, but are not limited to: working with at-risk youth, those who have experienced trauma, and clients experiencing depression, anxiety, school-related issues, and behavioral issues. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents impacted by trauma and their parents/caregivers.
I received my doctorate in psychology from William James College (formerly the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology) and completed an APA-approved internship at Community Healthlink Youth and Family Services in Worcester, MA. I have trained and worked in a variety of settings including community mental health agencies, schools, and hospitals. I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
